NOTICE TO REFERRING PHYSICIANS

Please be aware that Dr. Vadas's clinic at St. Michael's Hospital will be closing effective May 31, 2025 and moving to a new location at:
240 Duncan Mill Road, Suite 703, Toronto Ontario M3B 3S6.

As I transition to this new location, I will be moving from full-time to part-time practice.This will impact the numbers of patients that I can see and follow. In order to minimize wait times and provide timely follow-up, I will be narrowing the scope of my practice to focus on the following:
Food allergies
Allergic rhinitis
Asthma
Anaphylaxis
Drug allergy
Urticaria and Angioedema
Bone marrow biopsy-confirmed systemic mastocytosis
Biopsy confirmed cutaneous mastocytosis
Reactions to stinging insects
Venom immunotherapy
I will no longer be accepting patients outside this scope as of March 1, 2025. For patients that I currently see who fall outside this scope, I will be writing to their family physician to request that they provide a referral to another allergy specialist to provide ongoing care as of May 31st, 2025. I will continue to see patients on an emergency basis until September 1, 2025.

Patients who wish to continue to receive ongoing care by the Allergy/Immunology Division at St. Michael's Hospital may have a referral faxed to 416.864.6046.
